Time is running away with me at the moment. I have managed to get 3 Christmas cakes almond pasted and iced and decorated today. All three were the same. One for each of my daughter and one for us. Not very imaginative this year but hey ho they've got icing on!!!
@gijsje@bruni Thank you ladies, Bruni, the dear are made of fondant icing which I bought, coloured and cut out with a cutter. Cheats decoration really :)
The cake looks great, I wish I could find the enthusiasm to make & ice my own cake. I'm the only one in the family that eats fruit cake so I don't bother baking one these days.
