I took a road trip today. I got to go to a store called Lloyd's Hallmark. It's just up the road a little ways to Pantops Mountain. They had some cards on the counter with my face on it. I was so excited that I couldn't sit still so Mom couldn't get a very good photo of me today. I think she understood though cause she seemed excited also. All in all...it was a great day!
I'm owned by 5 Longhaired Dachshunds. Jack, Jetson, Jordan, Lincoln, & Lego...They are known as the Sheridan Avenue Boys. My 365 Project will be all...
I'm so happy for you. You know what this means? Mom will have to start putting sunglasses and disguises on you in public so your fans will not over-power you.
Those wise Hallmark people ... they know beauty and talent when they see it! I'm waiting for your whole line of cards to come out! Haven't been able to find this one yet around here, but I'll keep looking. When I find it, maybe I'll carry it around in my pocketbook and pull it out and show people just like others do with their grandchildren (since I don't have any, I'm missing out on that experience). What fun to see your exciting day, Lincoln!
Thanks Everyone! The caption on the outside says...It's a little gnome fact... inside card...that you're not nearly as old as you would be in dog years...Happy Birthday.
Hallmark sent me a upc number as well to say that if I couldn't find it in a store, you could always go directly to a store and order it. Just if anyone is interested, here's the number 0259YBP0216
I don't make any money off of the sales of the card. Hallmark owns the rights to it now. I won $500.00 and they also gave me a few of his cards. It's been really cool to actually go in a store and see Lincoln's little face on a card. Thank you all so much for the wonderful comments!
I FOUND IT! Yay! I purchased the two that they had left....one for me and one for a relative that has a birthday coming up!!! yay!! Congrats! :) Now Lincoln needs to practice his signature so that I can have him sign it! haha! :)
Very cool...and all he has to do is leave his paw print on their cards as his autograph...but maybe use finger paint as it will wash off better than ink :-)
WOW Kay I am soooooo impressed! You basically got paid $500 for the shot. Yaaay!!!! And to have one of your pics on a Hallmark card is the height of compliment. I love it!!! You are so talented, I'm just no surprised though.
