This is an old weather lore saying...."If the Oak is out before the Ash, then we shall surely have a splash, If the Ash is out before the Oak, then we shall surely have a soak".The Oaks are well out before the Ash this spring !We just managed to go for a walk in the woods between showers.
@naomi I have thought I could see a cat shape, head 2 little ears right top going across its body to the tail, then legs back & front I can see it more on the home page
I love this canopy of trees against the blue sky! And I do see the cat shape, but then I've had cats on the brain for days. Thank you for your kind comments about my missing cat.

Wonderful shot up through the trees. Fancy people not knowing that saying..............The ash is just coming but we still have had no rain at all here............I think it must be quite localised because others seem to have had some showers.
