There are a lot of these ancient Spanish Chestnut trees in the grounds of Croft castle. I like the gnarled twisted trunks and branches .I took this photo into the sun ,I quite like the way it turned out sooc.

This is so beautiful, I like how the dark gnarled tree and the softness of the misty trees work so well together. You would think that the tree would dominate the shot but somehow it doesn't. fav
