Toddler to teenager in the blink of an eye, were has all the time gone? This young man is 16yrs old today. I have always likes this photo of Ed pointing to the ducks,. which unfortunately are not on the photo(blame Helen) I am holding him by the back of his pants to stop him from joining the ducks in the pond.(btw Ed is our eldest grandson)
I agree and was thinking the same when I posted my last shot. It seems just yesterday I was "hosting" art play-dates (the other moms weren't keen on giving kiddos paint and the like, lol) I love this--he is soooo cute. Cute little cheeks (:
16 today?! Flipping heck and I remember him starting nursery. Lovely photo though it looks quite vintage which is also making me feel old. I should nip round to Helen's if she's got that chocolate cake made ;0)
Wasn't he such a little cutie! I can really remember that day feeding the duck so well. I'm afraid he's grown even taller - measured on the door frame today and another half inch at least in the last few weeks! I can't believe how fast it's gone from feeding the ducks to interviews for sixth form college!
@judithg I know! I remember how grown up they all seemed when they graduated from the baby room to the tweenies! No chocolate cake I'm afraid - Ed requested marzipan cake - I'll put a picture up of it now - it tasted better than it looked!
Happy Birthday to your son Ed. oh if we could only go back in time if only for a little while and enjoy the grandchildren when they were little..so many memories...
Lovely pic of both
