Good morning girls... by snowy

Good morning girls...

We only have three hens, you can just see one peeping out of the vegetation on the top left of the screen (easier if you view magnified).I was a bit late letting them out this morning. The white flowers all round the hen house are Common Comfrey.
LOL. they look a bright and happy pair. Lovely shot.

Who would be with out hens, such friendly comforting girls & always something to make a meal with. Yours look very happy to be scratching about. ! We have a fox round here so have to be vigilant shutting them in at night.

@happypat Yes we have had hens taken by a fox , but we let them roam during the day

This is a lovely composition with beautiful lighting and colouring! I can almost hear them making their little noises as they peck and scratch around. My hubby keeps saying that we ought to get some hens and the more I see of them, the more I think it might be a good idea. It's just that when we go away, we would have to find someone to look after them
