Hanging on ...

these last few apples are hanging on in our orchard in spite of the strong wind we had last night. It looks strange to see the apples on bare branches the leaves have all blown off. ..btw this looks best viewed large.

Amazing how the apples hanging on. when are you harvesting the apples. I see so many people having apple or pear trees in the front yard and the fruit all falls to the ground. I find that really ashamed

@bruni These apples last longer left on the tree ,so far we have not had any hard frost but these will be picked and made into pies , chutney , frozen , given away . then if any are left put out for the black birds
