are supposed to keep the bugs out.

I love the old fashioned marigold - but I never knew they kept the bugs away I used to grow French marigolds in the greenhouse amongst the tomatoes I suppose for the same reason Whatever -- they do make a colourful show amongst the vegetables !

I think they really do repel insects. Mother always had them in her garden. These are lovely.
