I really enjoyed hanging out at Union Square and went there every day I was in Manhattan. A bit of history about Union Square - a National Historic Landmark, it is a huge public square with a park in the middle of it. The neighborhoods around the square are the Flatiron District to the north, Chelsea to the west, Greenwich Village to the south, and Gramercy to the east.
These really cool buildings frame Union Square's west side. I liked the way they look and photographed them every day in different light conditions. This image was taken early on Saturday morning, and is one of my favorites of all the ones I took of these buildings.
