After a most delicious lunch, I wanted to see the southern end of Central Park. Having already walked over 60 blocks that morning, I took the subway from 23rd to 59th Street.
Here is what I saw at the intersection of Park and 59th. Only in New York City will you see an impromptu stop light drag race between two yellow cabs and a Ferrari (the Ferrari won). I had no time to compose, barely got the lens cap off in time to make the shot. But all things considered, I am happy with the image.
Best viewed large, if you have the time...
I never made it to Central Park (more closed roads!) and I will show you why tomorrow.
Great shot! Nope, never see that sort of thing here!!! In fact... I've hardly seen a Ferrari here!!!
Though... I might not know what it was, if I did see one! :(
such a cool and colorful street shot! i laughed when you said you were quickly trying to get the lens cap off......if i had a dime for everytime i was struggling with that cap.....before the "action" dissipates, i'd be a millionaire lol
Though... I might not know what it was, if I did see one! :(
