Originally, this building was two separate buildings: the Ivy Building, which contained classrooms, and the Library. At the turn of the century, the buildings were joined. This is one of my favorite buildings on the UGA campus. It is located right next to the famous Arch and is the closest building on the campus to downtown. Best viewed large.
They certainly have a lot of beautiful buildings. I really like how you captured so many intricate details at this angle. Happy to see the classic architectural styles and hope they will always remain. I appreciate all your nice comments on my photos & have a great weekend.
Is that called Rococo, or am I making that up?
I have always loved pillars.
