Jaguar E type series 1 dashboard

Wow - toggle switches, round gauges and a wood steering wheel with drilled metal spokes. Just the way a proper sports car's dashboard should be. And never will again, thanks to safety regulations. The toggle switches were the first to go - U.S. safety regulations forced Jaguar to change them to rocker switches for the 1968 model year. But I love the toggle switches. Best viewed large to see them.
A super interior.

Awesome capture.

Toggle switched remind me of my old hot rod days a half-century ago. This is quite a spartan interior for such a sleek beast.

Isn't that just gorgeous? I had forgotten all about toggle switches - you bring back a whole lot of memories with these lovingly photographed classic cars Danny
