Gapstow Bridge

Curving gracefully over the neck of Central Park Pond, the iconic Gapstow Bridge offers postcard views. Built in 1896, this lovely stone bridge has appeared in dozens of movies. Best viewed large. You would not know you were in the heart of one of the busiest cities in the world by looking at this image. Tomorrow, you will see the view from this same exact spot but behind me - quite the difference!
