This is the entrance to NBC Studios at the GE Buliding in Rockefeller Center (a/k/a 30 Rock), where SNL, David Letterman, NBC News and countless other television shows are filmed. There is also an observation deck at the "Top of the Rock", 70 stories high, that offers views that rival those from the Empire State Building. And last but not least, this was the home to the iconic Rainbow Room nightclub/restaurant. Closed in 2009 due to the depression, the Rainbow Room will reopen in 2014. Best viewed large.

When me and my ex were dating, I flew over here from the UK, and we took a trip to NY, and had dinner in the Rainbow Room.....such an eventful night.......the waiter was crossing the side of the dance floor, and he fell over dropping soup, plates, and the floor kept spinning, so we got a close up of him as he spun past us, and I had an allergic reaction to something I ate, and woke up the next day with red swollen buggy eyes lol Wonderful image......fav!!!
