Blue Ridge, Georgia Train depot

It's raining and gloomy in Atlanta today, so I thought this capture, with ominous clouds, would be appropriate. Those clouds did turn into rain while we were in the mountains, but not until the next day. Tomorrow we will take a look at the train at the station.
my daughter was there this weekend, what a small world

Is this in the Blue Ridge Mountains? I was there back in the early 80s but don't remember this. We were at a area in the heart of the mountains by a golf course and almost bought a lot there. Anyway, interesting sign and those clouds sure to look ominous.

I was raised near the Blue Ridge Mountains, Danny. Where exactly is this? That sky really sets off the sign!

It looks like a place worth seeing. This is a good introduction to tomorrow's station photo.

That's a great place to visit -- I used to live in NC and enjoyed my hikes on the Blue Ridge trail.

Danny, ignore my comment above. It probably was written before my morning coffee.....LOL. The place I was thinking of was Bent Tree not Blue Ridge.

@cindymc Cindy, Blue Ridge, GA is halfway between Ellijay and Blairsville, in the North Georgia Mountains. Lovely town.

@cimes1 LOL, Carole!
