Thank you for all the great comments and favs on my pink dogwood series, especially my April 18 image, which received more favs than any image I've ever posted on 365.
Moving on to a new mini-series, I recently attended the first Roswell Alive After Five street festival for 2014. This is historic Naylor Hall, a true Southern antebellum mansion, built in the 1840s and now used primarily for weddings and receptions.
Beautiful estate and grounds! My late father-in-law was born in Roswell (formerly Milton Co.). We have an old book handed down from him: "Roswell Historic Homes and Landmarks" copyright 1974 by the Roswell Historic Society. Beautiful photo plates include Barrington, Bulloch & Mimosa Halls; Waterfall & mill; Holly Hill, Presbyterian Church,Great Oaks, and many more. I'm wondering if your series will include any from the book.
@cimes1 Interesting information, Carole - Roswell is full of history. Unfortunately, I had a date with me and was with 3 other couples so I did not have time to do the photography I wanted to. This will be a very short mini-series.
