And now for something completely different...a three day orchid miniseries. I took a trip to Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Georgia to see a girl I was dating and while I was there, I toured the gardens with my new RX100.
lovely shot Danny - how are you liking the new camera? Does it have a viewfinder and how is the zoom on it ? I am starting to shop for a new one and am so frustrated that there are so many to choose from. I am spoiled with the super zoom on my Cannon Powershot and am having hard time matching that in a camera with a viewfinder.
Very nice shot, wonderful colors and great DOF. Danny would you please tell me how good is this camera for you ??? I need one to take with me when i can´t carry my D-7000 and i think this could be the one, what do you think ???
Agree with Graham and the others, super image - fav. Hope you had a nice tryst! BTW, my scan was clear, just some other issues, hopefully resolvable I think, you were very kind to write on this, thank you. Is the camera good? - I too need one like that.
@vega@ivan@mauriciorodriguez The Sony RX100 is a superb camera for its size. It will fit in a jeans pocket! The sensor is excellent and the Carl Zeiss lens very sharp. Images are very close to DSLR quality. There is no viewfinder and zoom is short. But those are the compromises one makes for a tiny camera that has superlative image quality. Highly recommended if you are looking for a truly pocketable camera with the best possible IQ.
