The Flying Quail by soboy5

The Flying Quail

Henry Ford commissioned George Stant to design and build this art deco radiator cap for Ford's Model A. Mr. Ford had the vision for the design and Mr. Stant completed the work. Nice joint effort! (this is a closeup of yesterday's Model A Roadster). This completes the pre-war automobile mini-series. We will take a one day break from cars tomorrow, then begin a 1960's American car mini- series.
Lovely colors and composition!!

Isn't interesting how prominent the radiator cap once was and now they pretty much are completely out of sight.
