Popham Oyster Factory

This 92 year old dilapidated tin building has a fascinating history. Originally built as an oyster processing plant in 1923, it has also served as a marina and a lumber warehouse. It is now owned by the City of Apalachicola and is used to restore historically significant antique ships. This concludes my five day "on the waterfront" mini series. Thank you for putting all five images on Trending. I am enjoying this new processing. My Apalachicola photographic study will continue for at least another month.
