The Graduate

Yesterday was one of the happiest days of my life as I watched my son graduate with high honors (summa cum laude) from the University of Georgia with a BBA in MIS (Management Information Systems). Jake is a fine young man and has accepted a career position with Ernst & Young starting this fall. I could not be more proud of him! We are heading to NY for a vacation today and then he will be doing a road trip out west followed by backpacking through Europe this summer. (Also a rare glimpse of yours truly).

Congratulations to Jake and your family! The world is his oyster and exciting times for him lie ahead! I cannot believe my son graduated from college in 2005, married 11 years, has 3 boys (6,5 and 2) and had been a Deputy Sheriff in Sacramento county for almost 12 years...time really does fly by! Enjoy every moment!
