While we were on our hike to the ocean near Cambria, Ca--I took this shot of an insect on a Purple Thistle from a distance. Once I viewed the photo, I was surprised to see that the flying insect was a Green Bee and I was really surprised to see the ants that were trapped. The Bee, fortunately, had no trouble flying on and off the Thistle.
