The fence by spanner

The fence

Continuing with the lines theme. Another Hockney inspired effort. Boy was good enough to brave the weather (it is grim outside). Nail varnish supplied by his big sister.
that looks great - love the effect and am curious to know how you achieved it, but probably wouldn't understand the technicalities. Great composition though!

@angelat Hello Angela. Thank you for your wonderful comment. It really is not a difficult process. As I wrote on yesterdays image I feel like a fraud as it is not difficult to do.

Another that is well done, regardless of how simple it may be to accomplish.

Is it like the bastard son of the Brenizer method / technique?

Nice processing!

I love the effect! Like puzzle pieces. I like the "tiles" around his face and the way they change perspective.

@quixoticneophyte I had never heard of this method until reading your comment. Thanks for that, it is always nice learning something new.

I love this.....love where you cropped the shot, and the colour. I really must try this, although I don't think my effort would be nearly as wonderful as yours :-)

Btw thank you for the great comment on that photo.....I ended up deleting it as I wasn't sure if people would find it odd or creepy :-)
October 11th, 2013

Another great one of these... what do you call this technique. .?

These have been a great series of photos. I like headless portraits, something about not revealing the whole person
October 11th, 2013
@bec2702 thanks Bec. It is inspired by David Hockney's work. I suppose it is photo collage or some thing similar.

October 13th, 2013
@channelf Thanks. The nails are the real reason why my hand is clenched in the other photo. Girl got me as well.

I remember watching a programme about David Hockney making one of these - what a wonderful idea to take into the digital world.
