The Fountain of the Alps is quite recent, was given by the Germans in 1975 on the occasion of the twinning between Monaco and Verona. Italians donated a copy of Juliet's statue to Monaco and now is located near the town hall.
The fountain is in the middle of Piazza Bra, the same square where is the Arena and the palace of Gran Guardia.
