One of the best things about Pittsburgh is the existence of our local, independent theaters. One of these is the Regent Square Theater, which has only one screen, but plays indie movies you can't see elsewhere, as well as old movies (sometimes for free, like their yearly showing of It's A Wonderful Life each December). We were able to see On the Road here. I loved the theater, and I was pretty pleased with the film. On the Road is my favorite book of all time, and I was a little nervous about how the film adaptation would be, but it was up to my expectations!
