I am the Lizard King... by stefneyhart

I am the Lizard King...

Photo taken in Tucson, Arizona. Just got a new computer, finally, so have so much editing to catch up. Seeing these photos is like Christmas in July.
What an awesome image! Oh my.

What a wonderful image! My photos from Costa Rica are huge files, so I commented that seeing them now, several weeks later, is like "Christmas in July"!

@Weezilou lol... it does feel like that! I'm slowly going back through my 365 friends to catch up on the work that they have been doing. Love to see your Costa Rica photos! Thinking of heading that way...

@danette I only have my editing stuff now. Still have to get my Microsoft Word etc., package reloaded. Lost all of my uploaded and created brushes and templates in Lightroom too. Oh well... perhaps this will move me into a new look!

A superb portrait of this lizard.

@milaniet Thank you. It was so over exposed but then I realized that I could do lizard on white, which is a fun look, too.

@randystreat Thank you... I really like it too but wasn't sure if others would. That's what I like about this site its a good way to see how others think.

Awesome!! There's something Fibbonacci-esque about his/her scales...
July 9th, 2018
@tabbycat True... the patterns probably have driven some of the more traditional southwest weaving patterns...
July 9th, 2018
Hmm...good observation

@tabbycat Perhaps more tessellation than fractal? Thanks for the follow.

Have fun catching up - hope it never becomes a chore. The lizard is beautifully patterned and well show off in your photograph.

@4rky @happysnaps @willowdragon @fayefaye @lynnz @robz @mittens Thanks so much you guys. Good to 'see' you all again!

@helenhall Wise words... I'll keep that in mind. It only becomes a chore when I'm paid to do people photos and get them out fast... so I don't do that anymore unless someone is poor and in dire need, but I won't take payment anymore as then there is no pressure.
July 10th, 2018
Clever processing, I have no idea how you did this!! Looks really really good
July 11th, 2018
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Thanks... truly it was so over exposed that i almost passed by it. Then I thought... Lizard on white could work so lowered the exposure/highlights and went from there. Happy accident.
