This tree sits in the backyard of my neighbor who passed away last spring. Her house seems so quiet without her, and her tree, somewhat haunting.

I just learned about Giacinto Scelsi. I guess he was famous for composing music based on only one pitch. This one is his "Prânam II" from 1973
Looks wonderful enlarged ... like all the grey tones ... listened to some of this piece and guessed from the title there was eastern influence .. then got impatient and had to look him up ... he had a very particular image!
