Derailment

Things were a little bit hectic and I wasn't able to get a shot of the crude oil cars tipped over, but I did get this shot of one of the sand cars at an angle.

I was heading that direction looking for a shot, but had completely forgotten about this in the news. Ended up running across a protest. Shot that and then headed home.

Ouch. Wonder how long they had to wait for a crew to come and get them going again. After the investigators got there, or course.

@byrdlip I guess it happened around 2am. When I showed up just after 7am, there were a lot of investigators, and a big crew of workers. There was hardly any room on the road to get past the security gate onto the pier.

@stephomy If you were down there at 7 am you definitely would not have seen me because I didn't hear about it until later. By the afternoon when I was off work it was probably back on the rails.
