One of my least favorite things to do as a baker is to wait for the oven. Normally I try to time it so that I can work on other things while something is in the oven, but today a last minute order came in as I was about to leave. I had to bake 20 chocolate cakes. There wasn't enough time to start another project to work on while they baked, so I got bored. I played with my camera, cleaned random corners of the kitchen, stared at the clock, and looked at copy of the Cake Wrecks book. Also, the cake needed to be put away...after it was cooled.
