I did it. I barbecued a 13 pound turkey. Stuffed too. I used the method of keeping the coals off to the sides and placing the turkey onto two soaked alder wood planks in the center. For most of the time I kept the vents only half open, but for the last hour I kept the vents all the way open. I think it's one of the best turkeys I've made thus far.
