Got back from Blackpool at lunchtime and headed straight to my new 'friends' house :)
The afternoon sun was awesome and I thought today's pic - which I had always intended to include Stacey - would come about with a little help from the sunset.
Hardly any tweaks in post, just a little adjustment in curves to add contrast.
@maggiemae I learnt a while back that old art was a great place to learn about light and it's true. Hence my regular visits to the National Gallery here in London. It was a great afternoon yesterday and I knew instantly that it would be good for a portrait :)
Stacey seems a willing model, lucky you! My husband is most reluctant! The light falling on her hair is beautiful, well done for careful planning and execution!
