A shot of my Dad taken yesterday at our favourite cafe on the beach closest to where they live, during my brief visit home over the weekend.
If you look closely you can see my did 'giving me the V sign' with his glove. Which is why he's smiling cheekily.
He's a top bloke.
And I'm looking forward to trying to capture more, and better portraits of him and the rest of my family over the course of the rest of the 365 year.
(The V sign he is making is not the normal 'victory' sign given with the palm facing out, but the slightly insulting sign given with the palm facing inwards, with the back of the hand facing out. Of course he's joking and isn't being mean! :)
