I was working at the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich over the last two nights (rare night shifts - yuck!!!), and last night on my way in, I spent 20 minutes having a look round.
I spotted this looking toward the Canary Wharf towers - just visible in the background - and didn't have to wait long for the cars to cross in front of me.
The walkway here is just outside the Painted Hall, which is definitely worth a visit. I did a job there a few years ago and it is awesome, especially with a camera.
@deniseescovino Thank you Denise. You just have to look. I saw the lamp (it helped that I had been to this area quite a bit before), the lines in the road, and wanted some movement. I got lucky with the crossing cars. :)
@shepherdmanswife Thank you. I didn't use a tripod, I never take it out with me, although I did once a few days ago for a shot of Buckingham Palace. Just have to try and hold it steady. Holding my breath is something I am quite good at now when I am with me camera :)
@taffy Thank you. This hasn;t had as many views or comments as some of my pics earlier in the year but I secretly really like this one. I think the combo of the light from the lamp and the movement from the cars all in one is cool :)
