I got back from work today and went straight out for a haircut, and took my camera with me in the hope of getting a photo.
I think general tiredness and lack of inspiration look over, because although I got my camera out of my bag as soon as I was done in the barbers, I pretty much walked home straight away.
I stopped near mine, where there a few shops including this, the Cudi Food Centre, which is open 24/7 and is a great place to go for late night provisions. I tried a few angles before feeling like I needed to get in out of the rain and into the warm.
I'm hoping the inspiration I had in the Middle East and the run before Christmas, comes back. Either that or I just need to get more experimental at home, to save me always going out for a pic!
new hair cut? Ok you owe us a new selfie then lol What I like about you is even when you say you're "tired and not inspired" you manage to take fantastic shots. I love day-by-day shots.. the ones that show regular quotidian life. They can tell a lot about other countries and cultures. I like the color contrasts here and how everything looks so fresh even at night.
Great street photography, I like the red signage and silhouetted figures. I wish my tired photos were as good as this! Agree with you about indoor set ups, something I seem to avoid if possible!
@jackie8 Thank you Jackie. And i think the 'inside at home' stuff that some people do so well, shots of flowers, and candles and much smaller objects than the usual buildings and countryside that I am always chasing :)
Love how it has all those horizontal lines, the reflection of the lighted letters on the awning, and the people lined up along there. Very nice for an "uninspired shot."
@stevecameras It seems like you are saying you want to/need to take indoor shots of things, set up shots, etc.. and I am sitting here looking at your photos thinking "I wish I could get out and take urban shots." The grass is always greener.
Thank you for your comments :)))
