I had a great day yesterday going up to spend the day with Alexis. We went to the park for a play, and a good walk, then to an area looking over the Chilterns to watch gliders and people flying their kites (where she also strong-armed me into buying her an ice cream), to her favourite 'dinner shop' for some lunch and then to a party of a school friend. We went to buy a gift for him and a card which she is very carefully writing out here, while we sat in the coffee shop. And I didn't need to help her write it either...she informed very firmly that she could do it herself. Which she did...! :)
I took my SLR and snapped a few shots outside in the daylight but I like this iPhone shot as it shows her really concentrating hard on getting the card right. She's growing up almost too quickly..!
She is a doll, and I'd chose this one too, no matter how good the others were lol The light touches her face perfectly, and she does look very focused... what a cutie.
