Day 131, Year 2 - Alexis, Sneaking The Softing

I had Alexis with me last night and today. I took her home this evening and then had a chat with her mum and step-dad about their planned move to the south coast. Not great news for me as it means she would be even further away from me, so moments like this may be a little fewer and farther between. Gutting to say the least...!

This is Alexis this morning, trying to eat some of the sugar icing for the cupcakes we had made.

I love her...!

Another shot from today:

Sorry to hear that, must be tough holding your tongue and not showing how upset it makes you.

Its a big teaspoonful! And a good cupcake evening you had! The move might mean she will have to stay with you longer when she comes!

Yeah, that is really gut wrenching, mate! I don't know what to say...

Steve, I really truly feel for you! Years of not seeing my dad, now combined with my being a dad, can only give me a tiny insight as to how you must be feeling right now! Dude, I really wish I could take you out for a pint right now!

...and that girl of yours is stunning, she'll grow up to be a heartbreaker! Always be there for her!

That is really sad news. I hope you still get to see her as often as you would like. I know it is hard but it will make the time you do spend with each other even more special. Thinking of you xx

Oh dear Steve......not good news but it could be further away......Scotland for instance so keep positive. A longer stay less often perhaps! Lovely girlie photo!

@vokesy Andrew...maybe we should get it in the diary...would have been good last night! Could have sunk a frosty cold one, then followed up with several G&T or JD and diet cokes! Thank you for your comment...I think whatever happens i'll be making changes to ensure I will be there for her...!

@debbie3108 @maggiemae @tomtom @nicolecampbell @happypat Hello all...thank you for being very kind and thoughtful. I felt this morning after having slept on it that I will probably make changes enough to be close to her. The idea of not watching her grow up, especially with the moments that I have captured through 365 isn't something I enjoy thinking about. She's worth it...!

oh no, so sorry to hear this! My boyfriend is going through the same situation for the second time. His 5 year old autistic daughter has been taken by her mother to the other side of the country... very very hard on everyone. Hang in there friend! She is beautiful!!
