Excuse the corny title, but she is an angel, albeit with one extra L in her surname - still counts :)
We left my brother's house in Oxfordshire yesterday to head back toward London and the evening light was just amazing. I had to pull over just before getting onto the M40 motorway to try and grab a shot in this field. I took a few of her while looking toward the sun but the exposure wasn't right and ended up with silhouettes. I also know I am not good at 'posing' people, especially children and also Alexis can sometimes be a little self-conscious when I have my camera focused on her.
So I just got her to walk around and stand where she liked so I could get a shot. The sunlight can be seen on her face and hair and although she may not have a typically photogenic pose, and isn't looking at the camera, I still think its an honest photo, and therefore it will very much do for me...!
