Day 177, Year 2 - Last Minute At Lords

I was working this week for one day only at Lords for the T20 Blast match. Lots to do on the day, so hardly any time at all for a shot. For a while it slipped my mind so ended up grabbing the camera just before the game got underway and and snapped a couple of shots. Had I had more time I might have headed up to the Media Centre or the Pavilion for a much better view of the ground. It's quite a place to go and has interesting views if you're in the right spot. Not this time unfortunately.
What do you do there? Tend to the pitch? It looks so flat and even and thats the way it should be, of course!

Nice wide angle and I like the b&w choice for processing. Curious to know how you have access to all the areas there.

@maggiemae Maggie, I am a cameraman. So I was working on the pitch and doing a camera that is positioned just outside the boundary.

@taffy Hi Taffy...I am a TV cameraman so was doing a camera that day just outside the boundary so was able to walk all over the place. It's a great job to have for photos sometimes. Last year for the Margaret Thatcher funeral I was at St Paul's Cathedral in London covering the service and spent 3 days wandering around with my camera - and doing a bit of work at the same time :))
