This is my colleague Dave and his gorgeous new wife Sarah and their first dance.
I was invited to the evening do of their wedding, held in her parents back garden just outside London. It was a big garden :)
They are lovely people and by all accounts had a very lovely, happy and fun day without too much pomp but much more love and good vibes with many family and friends around them Just the way it should be.
I arrived around 5 minutes before the dance happened so I had little time to grab a shot and I am in the wrong place really to get a shot of them, but I think including one of a few important nephews in his hat kind of works.
This jumped straight out to me in my news feed, love it, so romantic, love the blues, as you say just how a wedding should be! Fav for me as I'm an old romantic and I love her dress.
I agree I have gone off these showy expensive weddings....far nicer to have an intimate family do like this. I think the hat sets the whole thing, off....helps of course that the colour fits in beautifully...I would be well pleased with this ...a fave in fact!
@debbie3108 Thank you Debbie. This was one of two shots of them and at first I was disappointed. But they loved it and I now think it's a nice moment for them.
