This was taken after my lovely walk around the Tower of London, on my rather long way back to the tube at Marble Arch.
There are some tall posts with spotlights on near the National Theatre and BFI and people were naturally stopping to text using the light to see their mobile phones. Against the red and in the dark evening light it was a shot waiting to be had.
Luckily I managed to get someone walking in between me and the subject but at a slow enough shutter to cause a nice ghostly blur around the figure of the lady.
Bet you are pleased that the woman wore red!! Fabulous warm & rich colours ....must have been quite nice walking along the streets of London at night ......not that I would dare do It!
