These christmas lights are outside a house just round the corner from me. I drove up to see the guys at WEX (other camera retailers are available :) to trade in my X100 and 7D for the new X-E2.
I haven't used my 7D for months and I would love some detachable lenses so I think i've got the right model for me, and the kind of shots I take.
I saw this on the way home and thought it would be a good high ISO and colour test for the camera. I would have liked to have gotten a better shot but the people inside must have noticed my camera because after only about a minute and three or four shots, they turned them all off.
Strange...surely they understand that with lights like that, that they will be getting a lot of people looking at them...!
Already I love it and am looking forward to shooting with it.
That is strange, surely you know you are going to attract attention! Nowt as weird as folk as they say. I love the fact that its all the extremes on the house and absolutely nothing on either side.
