Yesterday I had a few hours to myself in London so I got to enjoy one of my favourite pastimes again, and with a large and very strong coffee in one hand and my camera in the other, I headed along the Thames from Charing Cross, to Tower Bridge and back, stopping at London Bridge to jump on the tube back to my colleagues house.
I wasn't pleased with anything especially as the blue hour had well and truly finished but with a bit of careful editing in post I have an image I am happy with. It would have been lovely to have a bit of light on the boat in the foreground...maybe I should take a strong torch next time with me.
3 good things:
1 - Making the flight home, which I don't normally have a problem with, but after missing Thursday's outgoing flight I was a bit nervy I'd be late again :)
2 - Seeing some of my favourite places again during my walk
3 - Dinner in the pub with my colleague and his girlfriend
