Well I think they might be fairies…I took this shot when I had about 15 minutes to walk around in the crowd at the Download festival, on the final day. I was hoping for a slightly better shot of the crowd or of the stage itself but saw these three wandering around, saying hi to the punters. I remember seeing them last year so grabbed a shot as they posed for people.
3 good things:
1 - The weather finally improving that afternoon as the last bands performed that evening
2 - Operating a camera during the Motley Crue and Kiss sets - it was fun to see them perform and another reminder of how much I love my job sometimes
3 - Finally getting into bed at 4am after the long de-rig, and a drink in the bar with colleagues to wind down
