So this is was my view every morning from my hotel room the week before last, while working in Crans-Montana, Switzerland for the Omega Masters golf tournament. This was another trip where despite the alarm going off before 6am, I was able to jump straight out of bed, check the view, and grab my camera and start snapping. The hotel is on a hillside 1500 meters above sea level.
It was gorgeous every single day. The kind of view that makes you think about life, love and the meaning of it all...as well as the awesome power and beauty of mother nature.
3 good things:
1 - A lovely walk through the hills with colleagues that morning before work, with equally stunning views of the landscape
2 - Hot weather during the day which made waiting around for delays due to technical reasons, that much more bearable
3 - Getting cameras finally ready for the first day;s coverage the following morning
The best thing is the DOF, seeing the clear and crisp silhouette of these ranges. Next thing - is where you are staying so you can leap out of bed and see this! Full of envy! fav
I think you need to go back here with someone special! Stunning location.....those mountains are glorious & hot too....had everything by the sounds if it!

Small hotel 1500 feet up in the Swiss Alps, about 2 hours from Geneva. It was very lovely indeed.
