After seeing my sisters and their little ones for lunch today, I took Alexis to a great place today for the afternoon called BeWilderwood in Norfolk.
It's a fun adventure park based around the story of little tree people and this week they are celebrating Halloween.
Each evening they have a Lantern Parade which means everyone walks with their lanterns that they have made in the park out of very basic materials, and walks through together after dusk as they slowly head out toward the car park.
Unfortunately after making the lantern which she was quite pleased with, she decided she wanted to go home, mostly because leaving the park meant going through the gift shop which is always her main aim whenever we go to places like this. So we didn't make the parade and our visit was all a bit brief but she said at bedtime that she had had a lovely day today.
Which is all that matters I guess.
3 good things:
1 - The arrival in the post of some new photography gear
2 - Lunch with Alexis' cousins
3 - A visit to Bewilderwood
Well that girl knows her own mind & has obviously thought out how to manoeuvre you into the gift shop....I have high hopes for her management skills! She is growing tall.
