Taken during a day spent at my brother's house the week before Christmas and while watching one of my favourite Christmas movies, Love Actually. It;s corny but I like it! This is the scene where Emma Thompson's character open the gift from her husband Alan Rickman and realises she hasn't been bought the gold necklace she saw in his pocket earlier, and that it might have gone to someone else. It's a very touching moment, and features Joni Mitchell's own cover version of her song All Sides Now which is very lovely indeed.

I watched this with my daughter and completely forgot about the "rude" scenes. My husband came home from work and was wondering if I had been drinking! It was the middle of the day and I hadn't, it had just been years since I last watched it. It is a great movie.
@nicolecampbell Yes there are a couple of moments...I guess you try and not make a big deal of it in front of them, and then make a note for next year :)
