Taken a couple of days ago after the sun had gone down, with very little light really left at all, and with the 10-stop ND filter on the front. I took the camera to Caister, which is another beach nearby, where I haven't been for years. But I wasn't really getting anything I liked. So I headed to my normal spot, set up the Fuji on a metal rail with my Manfrotto K-clamp, and tripod ball head (no need for a tripod with this) and fired a few long exposures.
Not incredibly dramatic but it is nice to get the smooth water and clouds too. And with the RAW conversion I got rid of the very blue colour cast that the ND filter sometimes gives, the added a little magenta to give a bit of warmth. With a little grad filter on top added in post as well it gives a slightly (very!) different impression of the day.
But i'm cool with that :)
3 good things:
1 - Bacon and egg sandwich, and nice coffee for lunch at a friend's house in Norwich
2 - A trip the Wex Photographic showroom in Norwich to buy some sensor cleaning products
3 - A lovely long run round Gorleston before dinner in the evening
