A day off at home on Wednesday after a very long day on the Tuesday, so I headed to a local woodland near me where I used to go regularly as a kid. It was strange as the forest has been levelled in large chunks and the car park that was once filled with cars and dog walkers is now closed. But it was still a nice walk through the woods down toward the Waveney river looking out, as the sun went down.
3 good things:
1 - Great weather in Norfolk during the day
2 - Lovely wander round Fritton Woods
3 - Making more Smarties flavoured homemade fudge
Beautiful capture, I really like the soft subtle colors! I spent four years in Norfolk, close to Suffolk, and my mum still lives in Norfolk. It is a beautiful part of the world, love seeing your shots of it!
@stevecameras Not a problem, I lived in the the tiny village of Wortwell, close to Harleston, my mum now lives in Saham Toney. I also came back and lived in Norwich for nearly a year at one point too.

@snaggy
May I ask where you lived?
Is it where your mum lives now?
