This is Caister-on-Sea in Norfolk, just up from Great Yarmouth along the coast. The reason I've named it as 'alternative' is because these zig-zags feature in many local photographers shot but from a view 180 degrees in the other direction, usually including the waves and some lovely long exposures.
I was there at very low tide so the end of the posts weren't in the water. Luckily I saw the sky as I was about to leave so I set my tripod up again and snapped about 5 frames before the clouds had blown away.
3 good things:
1 - More catching up with 365 editing
2 - Good to get out with my film cameras during my walk on the beach
3 - Running errands for my sister and brother-in-law
I am catching up with your project by going backwards (date wise) so it is interesting to see the shot this direction after seeing it as a long exposure in the other direction. The drama i the clouds really make this shot!
