This is Alexis and Toby sitting on a bench on the seafront in Great Yarmouth before our visit to the historic landmark Joyland, a theme park that has been there since 1949. I used to go as a child, and my Mum also did too.
They have some small rides to go on which literally haven't changed (other than paint jobs) since the park opened, the favourite of most people being the snails. Suffice to say the two of them, along with myself and Toby mum Jo had a great time.
3 good things:
1 - A visit to the Joyland with the children
2 - Bacon and egg rolls for lunch
3 - A couple of hours kip in the afternoon to refresh my rather poorly body
