Today was my last day in base for the year, getting cameras ready for this year's BBC Sports Personality of the Year Awards. I will be back in base next Monday on my return from the event in Birmingham, but only to pick up my car, and then i'll be 'Driving Home for Christmas'.
So I thought I would say my thank you's to the lovely women in the office who work hard to keep the train-set that is our Outside Broadcast facilities company running, week-in, week-out by doing all the logistic and admin work while my technical colleagues and I are out on the road.
And my favourite chocolates also seem to be most other people's chocolate so I thought it would get some in for them....
3 good things:
1 - Being able to show my gratitude to my colleagues
2 - My last day in base for the year...
3 - Dinner with my brother and his wife in the evening
